Jobs and opportunities

South Hill Park are looking for both a Volunteer Invigilator and a Printmaking Artist in Residence to join the team.

Volunteer Invigilator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our exhibitions team.

We are looking for volunteers to invigilate our next exhibition At Play:The Finale which is the fourth and last of the At Play series of exhibitions at South Hill Park. It will also be touring to New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham and OVADA in Oxford. This series of exhibitions looks at notion of play and includes sculpture, wall based, installation and multimedia art works often with an interactive element.

Invigilators will look after the Bracknell Gallery space, talk to visitors and will have some responsibility for the health and safety of visitors to that space. Full training will be given.

We are looking for responsible and reliable people, able to commit to at least one invigilation shift a month, preferably more. An interest or knowledge of Contemporary Visual Art would be useful. Current available shifts include Saturday evenings 5pm -8pm and Sunday afternoon 12:45 -5pm.

It would also be beneficial if the volunteer has access to a car as the arts centre is at least a 30 min walk from the nearest train station. There are buses serving the centre but these can be fewer at weekends and evenings. There is ample free parking at the Arts Centre.

For more information or to register you interest, please contact our Visual Arts Coordinator Kate Ratcliffe on 01344 416240 or email
